Upstairs, our athletic Reformer sessions happen in small-group classes or personal 1:1 sessions — all powered by next-gen Reform RX machines. Switch between pure coaching or tech-enhanced self-train formats with live tracking, tailored cues, and personalised programming.

Downstairs, our Strength training focuses on smart progressions in an intimate, small-group setting. Minimal gear, maximum intent, and coaching that actually fixes movement patterns instead of hiding them in a crowd.

The Lab is evolving into fully personalised support — combining 1:1 training, structured progress tracking, and nutrition coaching for clients who want true, long-term change.

Each machine supports both fully instructor-led sessions and tech-enabled self-training — so your progress never stops.

The Smart Spine hides the springs for safety and houses next-generation tracking technology, while features like the Infinity Footbar (28 positions, glide mode) and ergonomic handles add unmatched versatility.

BEHIND PROTAGONIST

We built PROTAGONIST because most studios weren’t built for people like us.

Too soft. Too aesthetic. Too crowded. Too unfocused.
We wanted something raw, efficient, and performance-led — a place where small-group training actually means coaching, not choreography.

Sara left a career in global corporates and top-tier consulting to create a training space that finally matched her standards. A space that combines athletic Reformer Pilates, progressive Strength Training, private 1:1 coaching and personal training & nutrition guidance for real body recomposition.

Our Reform RX machines track every rep and heartbeat in real time. Our coaches correct form, push precision, and tailor effort — whether you train in a small group or in a personal 1:1 session.

WHAT TO KNOW

  • Do I need experience to join?
    No. All levels are welcome — including first-timers. You’ll get live corrections and guidance to scale the workout to your level.

    How do the class levels work?
    Each format (Reformer + Strength) is offered in three levels: Base / Build / Peak. Choose what suits your pace — or mix them up to keep progressing.

  • How do I book a class?
    Book through the Protagonist app — available for iOS and Android — or via our website.

    What’s your cancellation policy?
    Cancel up to 12 hours before class to keep your credit. Late cancellations and no-shows will lose the session credit.

    How do waitlists work?
    If a session is full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot frees up, you’ll be notified automatically through the app (remember to turn your push notifications on) or via E-mail.

  • Where is the studio exactly?
    Zeughausstrasse 3, 8004 Zürich — right between Stauffacher and HB. Ground floor is Reformer, lower floor is Strength. Precision lives in both.

    What should I wear?
    Form-fitting workout gear you can move in. Grip socks are mandatory for Reformer. Clean indoor shoes for Strength.

  • Do you offer trials or intro packs?
    Yes — check our credit packs and intro specials. If you’re unsure, start small and feel it out.

    How do credits work?
    Each session costs one credit. You can buy packs or memberships depending on how often you train. The more you commit, the better the value.

    Can I share credits?
    Not at the moment. All credits are personal — but we offer referral benefits for bringing a friend.

  • Can I train if I’m pregnant or recovering from injury?
    Please check with your doctor before joining. Let us know ahead of class and we’ll help adjust where needed.

    What if I’m running late?
    If you’re more than 5 minutes late, we may not be able to let you join for safety reasons.

    Do you have showers?
    No. This is a lab, not a spa. You’re in, you train, you’re better for it.

    Do you allow drop-ins?
    Yes — if there’s a free spot. Drop-ins can be paid on the spot via TWINT.
